Ninja Squad Athletes is a registered 501(c)(3) non profit organization formed to help our athletes acquire all they need to be at their best. We realized a need for all children to participate in Martial Arts no matter the financial burdens. There is a Ninja warrior inside all of us! We want to help you find it and have fun while doing it. Our Taekwondo Master Rutland is a 4th degree black belt that has trained around the world with many renowned Masters. Not only is he a certified Master he is also a certified personal trainer. Master Rutland and owner Denise Nerland-Shinsato found a need to start a Taekwondo school that helps children and adults reach their full potential, where students earn their promotions. They also found that most families had financial situation where it was difficult to send their children to attend. These kids deserved a Martial Arts school and therefore they decided to do something about it and start Ninja Squad Athletics. They are a true blessing and inspiration to live by the Golden Rule. Ninja Squad Athletics started in a garage, born from the passion of a mother, her son and his Taekwondo instructor. Owner Denise Nerland had enrolled her son Cooper in Taekwondo lessons a few years prior, watching a rambunctious four-year-old turn into a black belt in just under two years. More importantly, Taekwondo gave him a sense of purpose. We offer affordable Martial Arts in Sarasota.
He found a way to channel the excess energy that can be found in many children. Instead of quarreling with his parents or sister, he would divert his attention to training.
